Jim Severson Wins MN B.A.S.S. Federation Nation Tournament of Champions

If you pay attention to the tournament bass fishing scene in MN than you are probably familiar with Jim Severson as he shows up near the top of the standings often. He pulled out the victory at the MN B.A.S.S. Federation Nation Tournament of Champions on the Whitefish Chain last week with 33.40lbs. Today is the start of the 2-Day MN B.A.S.S. Federation Nation Tournament of Champions at the Whitefish Chain here in Central MN. I'm not sure of who all is fishing it from my Club the Baxter Bass Snatchers and MN Bass fishing bloggers. My guess is I won't be able to see the results until after it is over unless Rich Lindgren Facebook or blogs them. Maybe if I wasn't such a Putz, I would go to

Rich Lindgren DQ'ed

Ouch!!! In the MN Federation Nation Tournament of Champions, Rich Lindgren caught the fish to finish 2nd. Rich Lindgren of Rich's Bassin Blog took the Day 1 lead in the State Tournament of Champions (PDF) on Lake Minnetonka. He weighed in 17.51lbs anchored by a 5.84lb kicker.In 2nd Place is fellow Baxter Bass Snatcher Nate Steinbauer who I fished with this year at Farm Island Lake. He has 17.31lbs and had a 5.74lb kicker.Currently the Baxter Bass Snatchers are in 5th Place out of the 30 teams. The
