Trophy On the Water

Last Fall we decided to store the boats over winter behind the house where they would be out of the way. Seemed like a good idea until we have had a late and wet spring. The Weather Has Been Awesome

But I haven't been fishing, except for a few casts after we took the dock out on Monday. Yesterday I took the Trophy out to Rock Lake and ran Stabil into the motor before running it completely out of gas. When I got home I vacuumed out the carpet, pulled the batteries, and trolling motor. Later today I plan to wipe out the white interior. I don't think I'm going to do anything about the scum

Trophy Is Out

Pulled the Trophy out of the water yesterday. The water on Platte is super high and so we were able to pull the boat out at our friend Jenny's access. That is the same spot that I fish from shore occasionally.I still plan to do a little bit of fishing before ice up, if we can get some nice weather. I very well might hit up Rock Lake, Erskine Lake, or Peavy Lake instead of Platte/Sullivan.

Trophy Potential

Today I got the new/used 25hp Johnson mounted on the Trophy and the boat got a good vacuum which it really needed. There is a pretty good chance I will put the boat in the water sometime next week. The motor is electric start and I don't have a battery for it yet.Tonight I caught 1 jumpin bullhead at the GOMH. I got there after 8PM and nobody was there. After about 20 minutes with 1 missed
